John Karlo Torres

John Karlo is originally from Los Angeles, California, now living the remote life in New Orleans, Lousiana. He has worked in the nonprofit world for over a decade with one stint of teaching the American language and culture in Barcelona, Spain, and a radical sabbatical in Bali, Indonesia. Like many others, he was an accidental admin which led to a career as a Salesforce Administrator and eventually took those skills and carried them over to the digital marketing space. After completing a Marketing Certificate from the University of California Berkeley, John Karlo was ready to leave the admin world behind and focus on marketing. His passion for helping others, solving problems, technology, and working with nonprofits led him to Now IT Matters and the opportunity to make a greater impact across many nonprofits and a wide range of sectors.
